  I haven eaten here several times and have brought friends. My family has vegans and they do everything to make them happy. The food is wonderful and for you steak eaters they have several  killer.steaks.
  
  Traditional Chinese cooking combined with excellent servemakes it a winner in my book. Give it a try lyou will not be disappointed,

  This place does NOT deserve any stars. My family had the worst dining experience. Horrible/Rude/Harrassing customer service and management. I'm a Dana Point local, I live up the street from the Little Kitchen. My mom and grandma are not from the area however they were in town with an appetite for Chinese food. I recommended the Little Kitchen and now regret referring my family there. They messed up both of their orders, asking if they can just eat the wrong dish instead. Typically, if the restaurant messes up an order, the proper thing to do is to have the chef cook the correct order. This was not the case here. My Grandma who's in her 80s was starving. They should of brought out something for them to munch on while waiting for the correct order. My moms meal had water chestnuts (she's allergic to water chestnuts), there's no water chestnuts listed on the menu or else my mom would say "no water chestnuts please". The server said "Why didn't you tell me you had an allergy?" My mom explained that she would have if the water chestnuts were known of per the menu.
  
  To top it off, it took forever to retrieve the bill.. to the point where my Grandma, who has dementia started walking out because of it. They gave them the wrong bill and overcharged them, running their card over and over. Finally, the Assistant Manager stepped in and insisted on having the ladies comp everything. While taking forever to do a credit refund. Lastly, my mom left in tears and we will never be coming back to the Little Kitchen nor will we refer friends, family and colleagues. Do not waste your money here, go to Thai Dara or Peking Dragon Restaurant!

  Not sure if there's been a Change in management or ownership.
  I've never been treated so rudely before. I've been coming here for over 6 years. It's usually a gentleman at the front, who is very polite & helpful. Today, the older woman didn't acknowledge me and then goes to help the ppl behind me. I let them know that I was there to pick up to go as well. She acts oblivious, points me towards a teenage girl behind the counter and then literally pushes me out of the way. I was a bartender & server for 10 years. This was completely unprofessional.
  This is how you lose long time customers. I guess she doesn't care, because it's busy.
  Not sure I'll be back after that....

  Went over to pick up a takeout order tonight. Friendly staff had it ready and waiting for me. The beef dish was fabulous as were the Asian chicken salad and the hot&sour soup. Thumbs up all around. I liked the ambience of the restaurant as well so next time I'll dine in house there. A great little place!

  I am horrified with their service. My family ate there today and it was the worst experience ever.
  First, they got our order wrong and refused to fix it . Then, a couple of the waitresses were laughing and making jokes about my disabled mother... so rude .. they were even pointing at her. One lady had the nerve to even verbally abuse her and told my poor mom to do something with her hair! I will never eat here ever again.
